World Childhood Foundation (WCF) was founded in 1999 by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. WCF works to prevent exploitation of children. It has been supporting over 100 projects around the world, assisting the children who are at risk or are victim of abuse, children who are in alternative care, street children and families at risk. It supports projects not only financially but also through strategic capacity building and networking opportunities. VOC partnered with WCF and implemented projects for the protection of street children in Kathmandu. Similarly, VOC conducted research titled “Exploring & Addressing Sexual Violence of Boys in Nepal” with support of WCF in 2019.
