Six Youths from Voice of Children(VOC) Participated in the Asia-Pacific Youth-Led Summit to End Violence Against Children

Six youths from Voice of Children(VOC) participated in the “Violence Ends with Us” Asia-Pacific Youth-Led Summit on Ending Violence Against Children, organized under the Global Youth-Led Movement on Ending Violence Against Children, held from April 14 to 16, 2026, in Rizal, Philippines. The summit brought together around 150 young delegates from 23 countries across Asia and the Pacific to discuss key child protection issues and enhance youth participation in ending violence against children.

Youths from Nepal, representing VOC, engaged in discussions, collaborative sessions, and a regional hackathon focused on four thematic areas: Child Labour, Child Early and Forced Marriage, Corporal Punishment, and Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA). Two participants from Nepal were recognized as winners in the OCSEA prevention category during the regional hackathon.

The summit emphasized the importance of meaningful youth participation, collaboration, and creating safer environments for children and young people. Through this platform, VOC shared perspectives from Nepal while strengthening regional connections and reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote child protection and the meaningful participation of children and young people at all levels.
