VOC organized Dissemination Seminar on Family Development at Local Development Training Academy (LDTA), Jawalakhel on 23rd December 2014. The objective of the program was to share the information on Family Development Program under VOC and to share the ideas and get feedback from like-minded organization to make the program more successful in the coming days. At the same, it was organized to build a good relationship and coordination among all the stakeholders which is also helpful to minimize the duplication of program implementation.

In the program, President of VOC, Mr. Puran Shakya welcomed all the participants. The program facilitated by Ms. Rojina Karki started with the brief introduction of VOC from Director, Mr. Krishna Kumar Thapa. Program Manager of FDP, Ms. Sushila Chaurel presented on the Family Development Program of VOC. After the presentation from VOC, there was open discussion and sharing session on Family development approach. Mr. Raju Ghimire, Technical Advisor of VOC, responded all the queries from participants.

There were other presentations from the guests as on the concerned issues and feedback from the participants of common coordination meeting organized by VOC earlier. There were presentations by Mr. Madhav Raj Pandey, representative from Women Commission on the topic Women Rights, Mr.  Ramjee Prasad Chaulagain, representative from District Development Committee (DDC) on Gender, Ms.  Kamala Neupane, representative from Education Commission on Education Policy and Mr. Ashok Shrestha, representative from Lalitpur Metropolitan City on the topic Green Flag Movement on Lalitpur district. The program ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Nirmal Bhandari, Program Quality Manager from Enfants & Developpement.
