VOC organized picnic program on the occasion of Dashain festival at Sahid Smarak Park, Thankot on 25th September 2014. Every year, VOC is organizing this picnic program on the day of Gatasthapana to exchange greetings and to develop a strong relationship between the staffs and children and among themselves.

Children from Family Development Program, Reintegration Program, Preparation Center, Welcome Center, and from the street participated in the program. Children from different unit performed their talent show with dance and singing. They enjoyed with other recreational activities and outdoor sports. All participated children were happy to get gift hampers according to their choices on lucky draw coupon. There was raffle ticket draw event for staffs with twenty consolation prizes and three bumper prizes to make the program more interesting.
