Dashain program organized on 10thOctober 2018 at Tokha, Kathmandu. The aim of program is to welcome and introduce the auspicious Nepalese biggest festival Dashain among the children of VOC where they can have fun and get together with whole VOC family. The children performed dance, sang songs, shared jokes, recited poems, flew kites etc during the event. There was participation of 165 children from Family Development Program, Socialization Center, Drop-In-Centre (DIC), and Reintegration Program in the event. The children anticipated for this day where they get a platform to show their talent, meet friends, receive gifts and have fun throughout the day. All participating children received gifts as part of Dashain Celebration. Apart from the gifts, children also enjoyed delicious food served during the event.
Further in the event reintegrated children who completed Secondary Education Exam (SEE) and the winner of Drawing Competition were also honored with the Gift and prizes.
