VOC organized three days Business Promotion Training for 10 staffs of Self Help Family Project, Sunsari on 19th – 24th January 2021 in coordination with Kinder Not Hilfe, Germany. The objective of training was building up capacity of project team about business promotion, identification of local resources, its productive utilization on business and effective marketing system.
The main topics of the training were; importance of business, income generation sources, quality of service, competitors, challenges for marketing etc. The team also carried out SWOT analysis on these topics to get clear understanding. At the same time, the project teams have done practical work by doing field visit to Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Dewanganj Rural Municipality.
Training has supported team to enhance knowledge of Business Promotion and its efficient delivery among Self Help Family Group members further they could support members to plan or do suitable business based on capacity and availability of local resources.
