There have been many instances where children are sexually abused by their guardians or responsible persons. Since the children have nowhere to go, they are forced to tolerate the abuse and violence. The children accept to being sexually abused so that they get to eat, stay under a roof and continue their studies. There is a dire need to rescue such children and put an end to the misconduct of the perpetrator by initiating legal action against them. Previous experience has shown that victims often face threats, pressure or temptations by the defendants and are often pressurized or paid to change or withdraw their testimonies. Thus, the need is felt to rescue and protect these children so that they can be reintegrated back to their societies. The following activities are proposed for rescue of victims of child sexual abuse.
Coordinate with INGOs, NGOs, and concerned Government bodies to follow activities of suspects and to rescue victims of CSA
Coordinate with the Community and concerned people
Establish a Protection Center for victims of CSA
Provide various Physical (food, lodging, clothing, medical needs, etc), Mental (Counseling, education, entertainment, extra curricular activities, involvement in social work) and Emotional Support to the victims.
